Though you should not include a list of references when you submit your résumé, you should prepare two separate lists of at least three people who know you fairly well and will recommend you highly to prospective employers.
You should have two reference lists. One page for Business References and another page for Personal References. The business references should include only business contact information. The personal references should include only personal contact information.
Before you include anyone on either list, make sure you have their permission to use their name as a reference and confirm what they intend to say about you to a potential employer.
